Wheel-thrown stoneware Low Bowls — the perfect size and shape for any meal. With a low profile and shallow design inspired by Japanese minimalist porridge bowls, these are so great for curries, soups, yogurt, stir fry and much more.

The Ribbed Low Bowl features a vertical ribbing pattern all around exterior of the bowl, for excellent texture and an elevated look.

These are very similar in size to the Daily Bowl, but with a slight inward lip that allows the dishes to display their ribbed texture when stacked.

This listing is for one (1) Ribbed Low Bowl, which will be selected from the batch shown. Each piece has slight variation in glazing texture, and there may be slight variance in shape and size across individual items.

Each bowl measures approximately 7” across and 2” tall.

Omo Ceramics are thrown and trimmed on a wheel and fired in a gas reduction kiln to Cone 10. The gas reduction firing process results in lots of texture and variation within and among pieces — this is part of what makes them so unique. 

We use nontoxic materials, always. Pots are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand-washing with warm soapy water and drying on a stable rack. This will make for happy, long-living dishes.
